James S. Plas is an author living in Austin, Texas.  Much like Captain James T. Kirk, only his close friends have the privilege of calling him Jim, but if you subscribe to this site, he’ll give you a free pass.

Do not confuse this James S. Plas with the man of a similar name that is responsible for such egregious acts against humanity as “Deploying Windows NT 4.0 in the Enterprise” or “How to Build a High Availability SQL Database using MSCS.”  No, that bastard is long dead, killed with a pen knife and fed to the alligators that live in Barton Creek.  (Yes – alligators do live in Barton Creek – don’t tell me otherwise).
